On the left side of the note grid is the editing panel.
• Edit – enable grid editing
• Note on/off – switch between adding and removing note on and note off events
• Block number – a button that displays the block sequence list and has the current block number
• Cut block – move the current block to the edit buffer
• Copy block – copy the current block to the edit buffer
• Paste block – paste the block in the edit buffer into the current block
• Current block in buffer – the reference number of the block currently in the edit buffer and available to paste
• Instrument number – a button that displays the instrument list and has the current instrument number
• Cut track – move the current block to the edit buffer
• Copy track – copy the current block to the edit buffer
• Paste track – paste the block in the edit buffer into the current block
• Current track in buffer – the reference number of the track currently in the edit buffer and available to paste – a track pattern for an instrument can be pasted into any another track
• Directional pad – a directional pad for shifting the notes in the note grid one position at a time in the desired direction (notes wrap around to the opposite side at the edges)
When the block number button is tapped, the block sequence list is shown on the right side of the note grid. When the instrument number is tapped, the instrument list is shown on the right side of the note grid. The block sequence list and instrument list are shown in the same location and cannot be viewed at the same time.
On the right side, below the block sequence list, is an additional editing panel.
• Previous instrument – go to the previous instrument track
• Next instrument – go to the next instrument track
• Move block up – move current block one position upwards in the list so it is above the previous block
• Move block down – move current block one position downwards in the list so it is below the next block
• Insert block before – insert a new block before the current block
• Append block after – append a new block after the current block
• Delete current block
